Aurobindo's Beauty

I came across a passage tonight while reading Aurobindo's "The Divine Life" that was especially striking to me, both in the beauty of its prose and the profound and simple wisdom in its message. So I thought I would share it...
"States of consciouness there are in which Death is only a change in immortal LIfe, pain a violent backwash of the waters of universal delight, limitation a turning of the Infinite upon itself, evil a circling of the good around its own perfection; and this not in abstract conception only, but in actual vision and in constant and substantial experience."

Ahhhh…this is part of the explanation I've been looking for…it has bugged me whenever I've heard persons glibly stating, “It's all good,” as my mind then starts considering G W Bush in Iraq, ignorant young men—as well as women and children—killing and being killed for megalomaniac power games…”It's all good,” saaaay whaaat???
It also reminds me of a quote from some sublime source, “Despite the perceptions of your senses and the interpretations of your mind, everything really always is totally okay.”
And, there's the [paraphrase by faulty memory] of Rumi: There is a resplendent Field beyond evil and good, beyond dark and light, beyond wrong and right…I'll meet you there in the Field!
Blessed Be!
Alohas!
Yes, I will meet you there in that Field wholelove(-:
Blessings.
A prudent post, i am so delighted n glad to read cuz it only shows how much love you all have for Indian sages. Be blessed always.
Love, Peace, Blessings and Light !
